Southern Visions Workshop II: Pastels

Southern Visions: Studio Workshops pairs hands-on studio instruction with time in the Special Exhibit Gallery to explore the foundational skills behind the landscapes, watercolors, and use of perspective in FCM’s Southern Visions exhibition. All skill levels welcome. No experience necessary.

January 31: Session II: Intro to Pastels – Participants will be introduced to the basics of the medium of pastel in this introductory workshop and have the opportunity to take a closer look at Flower Lady (Standing), completed in pastel on silk by Elizabeth O’Neill Verner, on exhibit in the gallery. Taught by Louise Dargan Thompson
