Southern Visions Workshop I: Etching

Southern Visions: Studio Workshops pair hands-on studio instruction with time in the museum’s gallery to explore FCM’s current exhibition, Southern Visions. Each session explores a different art medium. All skill levels welcome. No experience necessary.

January 24: Session I: Etching – Explore how etching captures Southern landscapes, architecture, and everyday scenes through expressive line and contrast. Inspired by etchings in the gallery, participants will use basic etching techniques and create their own print inspired by regional imagery. Taught by Brittany Gilbert Gaddy.
