Southern Visions Workshop III: Charcoal

Southern Visions: Studio Workshops pairs hands-on studio instruction with time in the Special Exhibit Gallery to explore the foundational skills behind the landscapes, watercolors, and use of perspective in FCM’s Southern Visions exhibition. All skill levels welcome. No experience necessary.

February 7: Session I: Exploring Charcoal – Observe how charcoal is used to express mood and value in the gallery. In the studio, experiment with vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, and charcoal pencils. Learn to create in charcoal wth confidence. All supplies are included! Taught by Madison Sved.
