Family Day at the Florence County Museum

From toddlers to grandparents, Family Days at the Florence County Museum are sure to offer something for everyone. Join us the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Family Day at the FCM. No registration required. Free of charge.
Art Around the World
Museum Lobby
Create an Ojo de Dios or “God’s Eye” in the style of the Huichol tribe of Mexico. Participants will weave a colorful Ojo de Dios using sticks and yarn.
Art Studio
Create a mask inspired by West African ceremonial culture. Participants will decorate a basic mask form, adding bold colors and three-dimensional elements.
Multipurpose Room
Prepare for spring with a traditional Japanese windsock, used to celebrate Children’s Day. Participants will create a colorful carp windsock for home display.
