Participants will explore themes of symbolism, memory, and Southern identity through the art of image transfers using household solvents. Drawing inspiration from the works on display in our current exhibitions, Revelations: The Art of Leo Twiggs, and our upcoming Southern Art exhibit, TBA, reflect on how images, historic buildings, landscapes, textiles, photographs, and cultural symbols shape personal and collective memory. Reinterpret the visual language of the South in new ways.
No prior experience is necessary. All materials are provided.
