Arkhaios Film Festival 10th Anniversary
Join the Florence County Museum and the Arkhaios Cultural Heritage & Archaeology Film Festival for an evening dedicated to film, archaeology and cultural heritage, on Monday October 10, 5:30 to 7:00pm at the Waters Building located at 135 South Dargan Street in downtown Florence.
This free event will include a reception, lecture and screening of “The Mystery of the Cosquer Cave”, a 2022, 52’ film by Marie Thiry.
The Arkhaios Film Festival is sponsored by the SC Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology (SCIAA) and the Department of Anthropology of the University of South Carolina, and the Welsch Tract Historic Properties Association, in South Carolina, and in Pennsylvania by the Department of Anthropology of the University of Pittsburgh, and the Allegheny Chapter #1 of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology.
