Join us for a summer series where educators can unwind, get creative, and prioritize self-care through art therapy! Explore printmaking, watercolor, observational drawing, illustrated reflective journaling, and arts-based mindfulness practices. No arts experience is required! Each week will feature different art prompts and therapeutic goals using current exhibitions and outdoor spaces as points of inspiration. This program is open to all K-12 educators, support staff, and school administration professionals. Register to attend single sessions or the entire series!
Facilitated by Elizabeth Graham Anderson, PhD, an artist, board-certified art therapist, and licensed professional counselor with the Medical University of South Carolina’s Arts in Healing Program. Through artmaking, participants will be exposed to therapeutic strategies, mindfulness, sensory exploration, and artmaking practices that foster wellness.
