Family Day at the Florence County Museum
From toddlers to grandparents, Family Days at the Florence County Museum are sure to offer something for everyone. Join us the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Family Day at the FCM. No registration required. Free of charge.
Celebrate life long learning at the museum as a new academic year is underway.
Participants will create batik bookmarks for their favorite book and crayon resist magnolia magnets to help post reminders and creations!
These activities are inspired by Magnolia Grandiflora by Anna Heyward Taylor and Mother by Leo Twiggs found within the Wright Collection of Southern Art.
We will be reading Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem, words by Amanda Gorman and illustrations by Loren Long in the courtyard (or lobby depending on the weather) throughout Family Day.
