Create your own scrapbook in the Classroom located on the Education Wing to collect memories and creations. Design a cover with your initials and create pockets in which to hide visual treasures. Learn more about William Henry Johnnson’s scrapbooks\, in which he gathered newspaper clippings and source materials for his paintings. Visitors will go home with one of their own in which to keep future Family Day memorabilia inspired by Fighters for Freedom: William H. This program is offered from September through May on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The program will include a gallery visit\, storytime\, and hands-on studio activity. \nWe will read “Mouse Paint” by Ellen Stoll Wash in the gallery. Your child will learn about how important primary colors are in all forms of art.
